Prior to graduating with her master’s degree, Marissa completed an internship in 2005 at SGPA’s San Francisco office. She maintains that relationship to this day as a private consultant through her Montana-based firm, Bright Black Architecture + Design.
On a typical SGPA project Marissa assists in detailing drawings and preparing construction documents. In the last year, she has taken on more responsibility and played a larger role in construction administration. A strong listener who excels at interpreting what clients are saying about their intent, she loves collaboration and all processes that allow her to work with people.
