This 56-bed skilled nursing facility helps seniors gain their maximum level of independence when they are transitioning from the hospital to home, or when they have greater needs that require continuous care.

SGPA was responsible for project programming, design services, construction documents, OSHPD permitting, and construction administration services for the renovation of this OSHPD 3 facility.

Complete renovation of the resident units included new finishes, furniture and toilet room renovation. In the main dining room, we designed new casework for a serving station, new floor finishes, new lighting and new furniture. The assisted dining room Nurse Station, Medication Room, and Nurse’s Office also received new finishes, furniture, and casework. A new seating area for residents was less institutional in design. Total redesign of two tub/shower rooms from an institutional model to a resort spa model included new finishes, new fixtures, lighted mirrors, clothing lockers, and towel warmers. The renovated hair salon included finishes, casework, hair wash sinks, mechanical ductwork, and lighting.
