In close proximity to the West Oakland BART station, the project successfully integrates critically needed housing for the aging population with a shopping center to provide necessary goods and services for the community. Sustainable elements include solar thermal and photovoltaic panels throughout. This project was awarded the PCBC Gold Nugget Grand Award – GreenPoint Rated Community of the Year, and the PCBC Gold Nugget Award of Merit – Best Infill, Re-Development or Rehab Site Plan.
