Keller Plaza’s $17M occupied renovation combines Low Income Housing Tax Credits with Project-Based Section 8 and HUD Green Retrofit Program funds from the Federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and was designed to meet Green Point Rated requirements. The development boasts 201 apartments across seven buildings, established in 1973, complemented by a 3,125 SF community building and courtyards. The strategic location allows easy access to three BART stations, fostering walkability. Furthermore, the project prioritizes energy efficiency, affordability preservation, enhanced health and safety measures, including security and waterproofing, and improved accessibility. It endeavors to create a vibrant and more livable space while fostering stronger community connections.
