Derek joined SGPA in 2012 as an intern, contributing to a variety of projects across different studios. Now serving as a Senior Architect and our office BIM Manager, he spearheads production efforts and excels in utilizing digital tools to realize design visions. With extensive experience collaborating with consultants and contractors, Derek effectively addresses modeling clashes and resolves coordination issues before construction begins, ensuring smooth execution of both complex renovations and new construction projects. His exceptional work ethic, keen eye for detail, and strong skill set make him an outstanding leader for our design team, producing well coordinated construction documents that balance design excellence with creativity.
