Redevelops an existing Extended Stay America Hotel into permanent supportive housing for unhoused populations.
Presidio Palms is a State Homekey funded project through the San Diego Housing Commission, converting an existing 166-room hotel into permanent supportive housing for unhoused residents of San Diego. The project includes accessibility upgrades, amenity spaces such as a community room and resident laundry facilities, staff offices, two property manager units, finish upgrades throughout, HVAC and infrastructure upgrades, security and site improvements including a new picnic area, resident mail boxes, bicycle storage and trash enclosure, new roofing, and rooftop solar panels. The project was completed in June 2025.
