After over forty years of exceptional architectural design and leadership, Keith Pittsford, Vice President and Director of the San Diego Office of SGPA Architecture and Planning, has announced his well-deserved retirement. Keith’s guidance and insights have been instrumental in shaping SGPA’s success with transformative projects and design excellence. We extend our deepest gratitude for his outstanding contributions and wish him all the best in his retirement. He will be deeply missed!

Keith Pittsford
After 42+ years in architecture, Keith Pittsford is retiring, leaving behind a legacy of transformative projects. Keith began his career at SGPA as a Project Architect and advanced into leadership roles, serving as Director of Operations, Director of Business Development, Director of the Retail and Commercial Studio, and, most recently, Director of San Diego. Keith’s expertise in retail and mixed-use developments has shaped iconic projects such as Desert Ridge Marketplace in Phoenix, AZ. His more recent work includes landmark projects like the County of San Diego Waterfront Park bay front revitalization; San Diego Community College District Mesa Commons, a sustainable campus hub; and Cedros 330, a coastal mixed-use development. Keith’s contributions to SGPA have been complemented by his active participation in organizations like the International Council of Shopping Centers, San Diego Housing Federation, and past affiliations with the Urban Land Institute, Habitat for Humanity, NAIOP, and the Mission Valley Planning Group. In retirement, Keith looks forward to traveling, section hiking, and staying engaged in architecture by continuing his work as an expert witness in eminent domain cases and providing design consulting. While Keith’s departure marks the end of an era at SGPA, he leaves behind a solid foundation of leadership and design excellence.
