The in-line retail and restaurant buildings that line both Oakland & Brokaw Roads now feature restaurants on the end-caps of buildings, framing and activating corner plazas and courtyards between the structures.
The Retail Village is seamlessly connected with a strong vehicular and pedestrian connection to an adjacent high-density residential community, offering easy access not only to neighboring sites but also to the greater community. The architecture reflects a contemporary approach, utilizing a warm and varied palette of scored smooth troweled stucco, horizontal wood siding, and a range of metal panels and trim accents. Metal canopy structures at the ends of the buildings over outdoor patio areas provide shade protection and defined areas for restaurant seating. The project planning and design were well received by the community and City staff, facilitating an extremely fast entitlement process.
