Cass Street Apartments

Beachfront surf living in the heart of the vibrant and lively Pacific Beach neighborhood.

This project comprises 3,000 SF of retail space with covered parking and a podium structure. The total building area encompasses approximately 19,000 SF and is situated on a .28-acre parcel. Given the strict height constraints, the project’s structural system was executed in concrete to maintain minimal floor plate dimensions. The mix of 0ne- and two-bedroom residential units are cleverly stacked two floors above the 3,000 SF corner retail space, resulting in a total of 14 units, three of which are designated as affordable housing. Each unit has its own private balcony so residents can take advantage of the fresh ocean air. An attractive feature of this project is the street corner patio, designed for outdoor dining and fostering social interaction, which contributes to the vibrancy of this walkable community.
