The San Elijo Campus with in the Miracosta Community College District is in the process of upgrading of facilities to match the level of passion and service they provide.
Building B200 renovation project modernizes three classrooms with new finishes, AV connectability, whiteboards on all walls, and movable desk chairs to facilitate classroom and group activities. One of the classrooms modernizes with a forward-thinking approach by incorporating five interactive monitors and whiteboards around the room to allow for seamless sharing of digital content between teacher and students, and peer to peer.
The jewel of this building is the arts program. Drawing and 3D art labs are modernized with new casework, furniture, deep art sinks, custom lighting, and dust collection systems. The kiln patio is completely modernized with a new structure allowing for silica dust control, power supplies for additional equipment uses, and glazed windows for increased daylighting. The site is made fully accessible by removing the previous fire lane and modernizing it with an ADA-compliant ramp.
