New retail project honoring the specific design guidelines established by the Covenant of Rancho Santa Fe.
The two-story commercial building stands as a notable addition to downtown Rancho Santa Fe, marking the first of its kind in over two decades. A meticulous approach was undertaken to ensure that Plaza de Acacias seamlessly aligns with the Spanish/Mission architectural style prevalent in the community.
This new structure accommodates a Bank of California on the ground level, while the second floor houses the offices of Scripps Investments. Sustainability has been a key focus, with several environmentally conscious features implemented. These include increased wall thickness and insulation, dual-glazed windows and doors for improved energy efficiency, and the use of drought-tolerant landscaping, all contributing to a more eco-friendly and energy-efficient building design. The site also includes a total of 48 parking spaces.
