As part of a grant application, SGPA was hired to provide a professional assessment of Wellfield park: a 166-acre outdoor community space serving Ramona, California. Within the park, there are multiple facilities managed by the Ramona Municipal Water District. The report focused on three primary facilities that provide support and services to the community: The Community Center, the Outdoor Community Center, and the Junior Fair.
Each facility was assessed for required building code and accessibility upgrades, systems replacement and maintenance and suitability for the requirements of a Community Resilience Center. Some master planning was required to evaluate the most cost-effective sand strategic improvements, so that both the individual facilities and the whole campus could utilize facilities as needed.
