After 42 years in architecture, Keith Pittsford has retired from his role as Vice President and Director of SGPA’s San Diego office. Keith began his career at SGPA as a Project Architect and, prior to his recent roles, served as Director of Operations, Director of Business Development and leader of the Retail and Commercial studio. Keith’s expertise in retail and mixed-use development has shaped iconic projects, including the Desert Ridge Marketplace in Phoenix, Arizona, the bay front revitalization at the County of San Diego Waterfront Park, a sustainable campus hub for San Diego Community College District Mesa Commons and Cedros 300, a coastal mixed-use development. Keith’s legacy of transformative projects has been complemented by his active participation in organizations such as the International Council of Shopping Centers and the San Diego Housing Federation, as well as his past affiliations with the Urban Land Institute, Habitat for Humanity, NAIOP and the Mission Valley Planning Group. In retirement, Keith maintains his engagement with architecture as a design consultant and through the continuation of his work as an expert witness in eminent domain cases.
